On August 1, 2006, Anibal Merlo and Rafael Godoy founded Mastel, a clear idea stood out among all others, the market needed a specialised consulting service for Micros Fidelio software (currently Oracle Hospitality) that did not exist and Mastel could offer it.
After several years of work in the technical and sales divisions of the multinational Micros Fidelio, having lived the birth of Opera software for Spain, we both realised that all the efforts developed in the software installation of the company they represented required additional consultancy services that the software manufacture could not offer during the installation & support of the solution.
This thought was the birth of Mastel and other divisions of Mastel Hospitality Group.
During the last 11 years, Mastel Hospitality has offered its clients a specialised and technological consultancy aimed at improving the daily operation of their hotels and hotel chains. The development of operational processes, internal training, analysis of day-to-day operational issues and the advice on incorporating new integrated solutions with its Opera hotel solution have been the main functions of the Mastel team.
Over the years Mastel has incorporated to its services diverse solutions that offer added value to its clients, continuously looking for the optimisation of the hospitality management.
In the first years of professional career Mastel incorporated the software of management of Golf Courses and Spas, Concept Software Systems. Today, multiple customers use the system and have been pioneers in online sales strategies through standard solutions tailored to their particular needs by Mastel team.
This same philosophy has been applied in the incorporation of Business Intelligence solutions for the hospitality market. Mastel’s customers increasingly requested open solutions that allowed them to cross data from multiple software (an option that does not exist in most hotel, leisure or point of sale solutions). For this reason, Mastel launched the “Hotel Dashboard” solution, a business intelligence program based on Qlik technology that has allowed to offer data analysis and reporting solutions from different hotel programs, points of sale, leisure, finance, shopping, etc. …
Can you imagine receiving a Profit and Loss report by revenue center including revenues, expenses, costs, operating result, etc. each morning and also distributed to each of its department heads automatically? This is a reality for some Mastel customers.
Today, Mastel Hospitality offers global services. It collaborates with some of the most prestigious Hotel Chains (Meliá Hotels International, AC Hotels, Room Mate Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Arabella Hotels, Hilton International, JJW Hotels & Resorts and many others), and continues to grow by offering the best service to our clients.
In addition, the new scenario of the hospitality market through the emergence of Oracle Hospitality also positions Mastel as an important player by serving and supporting ORACLE in their projects, as Gold Partner of Oracle.
