Automated Reporting Solutions

Automated Reporting

Stop rebuilding the same reports every morning.

Most hotel teams still assemble their daily reporting by hand. Someone exports from the PMS, someone else rebuilds the same spreadsheet, and the flash report reaches the general manager late — or reaches three people with three different numbers in it.

Automated reporting removes that work. Reports are built once against Hotel Dashboard, then generated and delivered on a schedule, in the format each recipient wants, from one set of figures everyone agrees on.

What you get

Five things that change on day one.

Reports that arrive before anyone asks

The daily flash at 06:00, the F&B pack on Monday morning, the owner report on the first. Delivered by email, to a shared folder or over secure transfer, without anyone remembering to send them.

One set of numbers, every format

The same figures as PDF for the board, Excel for the analysts, Word or PowerPoint where it suits. Because they come from one source, they reconcile.

One report, every property

A single template bursts to every hotel, department or manager in the group, each copy filtered to that recipient. You build it once, not forty times.

Sensitive figures stay protected

Reports inherit the same access rules as the dashboard, so payroll, margin and owner figures reach only those already entitled to see them.

Your team stays in control

We train your team on the report designer. When the reporting need changes, you change it yourselves, the same day, without a consultant and without a change request.

Choosing a platform

Two ways to deliver it. We build on both.

Hotel Dashboard delivers automated reporting through Qlik Sense or through Power BI. The right one is usually decided by what your group already runs and already pays for, not by the reporting itself.

Qlik Sense with Qlik NPrinting

  • Reports are generated straight from your Qlik apps, so the figures match the dashboard exactly
  • Templates are designed in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HTML, so a report keeps the layout your finance team already reads
  • Output to PDF, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and HTML
  • One template bursts to many recipients, each filtered by property, department or manager
  • Delivery by email, network folder, FTP, or a web portal your team signs into
  • Reports honour the same access rules as the dashboard itself
  • Can run entirely on your own servers where data residency matters

Choose this if your estate already runs Qlik, if your reporting is heavily formatted, or if finance works natively in Excel.

Power BI

  • Reports arrive where your managers already work: Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
  • Scheduled subscriptions send a report page as PDF, PowerPoint or image on a set schedule
  • Paginated reports give print-ready, pixel-perfect layouts for month-end and owner packs, exportable to Excel, PDF and Word
  • Data-driven subscriptions burst one paginated report to many recipients, each filtered to their own property
  • Row-level security applies the same rules to the report as to the dashboard
  • Single sign-on with your existing Microsoft accounts, and mobile access without another licence

Choose this if your group is standardised on Microsoft 365, or if you want reporting to live inside Teams and Outlook rather than a separate portal.

Both routes reach the same place: reports that build themselves and arrive on time. Where they differ is running cost and where your people already spend their day. Power BI’s paginated reports and data-driven subscriptions need a Fabric or Power BI Premium capacity, so part of our job is checking what your existing Microsoft agreement already covers before anyone buys anything.

We work with both. We will tell you which is cheaper to run in your environment, rather than which is quicker for us to build.

How we do it

Built around how your properties actually run.

We configure the reporting around your own operation: night audit, daily flash, food and beverage, groups and events, month end and owner reporting — drawing on the same Hotel Dashboard connectors as the rest of your data, from Opera Cloud and Simphony to your finance and payroll systems.

The templates carry your layout and your branding, so what lands in an owner’s inbox reads like an owner report rather than a spreadsheet export.

See it against your own reporting

Send us the reports your team rebuilds every week.

We will show you what automating them looks like on both platforms, using your own figures, and what each would cost you to run.
