In Mastel Hospitality we are excited to announce the launch of our latest development with OHIP technology for Opera Cloud.
Our new solution integrates the Opera Cloud booking system with seamless tokenized credit card payments through our partnership with FreedomPay. We are proud to offer this innovative solution to our clients, which will streamline their payment processes and enhance their overall guest experience.
With this new technology, Opera Cloud creates a payment link that is sent to the client in a custom confirmation letter. This letter can be designed in multiple languages and styles to match the branding of the client. The client’s credit card information is then tokenized in FreedomPay’s PCI-certified environment, providing an extra layer of security and ensuring that sensitive information is protected.
The deposit is then processed against the reservation, and the reservations team has a clear color indicator to show the status of the payment. This clear indicator allows the reservations team to quickly identify and address any payment issues that may arise.
The color indicator includes yellow for a non-done payment, red for a done but incorrect payment that requires manual checking by the reservations team, and green for a done and correct payment. In this last case, the integration automatically sends a copy of the invoice to the client to confirm the deposit has been made. This feature not only provides clients with peace of mind, but also reduces the workload for the reservations team.
In addition, the FreedomPay payment link allows clients to check-in via the payment platform, updating essential information prior to their arrival. This feature provides a streamlined and convenient check-in process for clients, enhancing their overall guest experience.
