With the new Micros Express Station 400, Oracle has achieved exactly this. A unit that is robust and built to last, while addressing all the needs of a modern kitchen. The All-In-ONE Terminal combines bump bar and KDS into a single unit, making the installation and implementation faster than ever before.

Whats New?

The Micros Express Station is the next step in KDS Evolution. It features a 24inch expansive display that is both stylish and highly functional to keep up with fast paste kitchens. Also, cable management has become a thing of the past as the new unit only requires an ethernet and power cable.

Previously KDS units required a KDS Controller, separate power supplies for controller and KDS, as well as an array of mount kits to position the Kitchen Display. All this has reduced from 12 different components to only four. The Display, The mount and two cables.

Ventless IP-54 Rated Design

Ventilation and cooling fans are a major failing point in any kitchen, humidity, grease and airborne contaminants will eventually cause failure in any computer. The Express Station 400 has a complete ventless design, this means that no air circulation is required to cool the interior components. IP-54 rating ensures splash proof and a dust repellant design. 

Integrated and Organised

The Express Station 400 integrates, KDS Controller, Power Supply and Cable Management into the unit making it more compact as well as faster and easier to install than ever before. Universal VESA 100 patters give you multiple mounting options such as ceiling, wall mount and countertop.

OS and Engineering

Now as with the new Micros Workstations, the Express Station 400 gives you a choice of the operating system. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or the purpose developed Oracle Linux for Micros. Oracle Linux was developed to maximise usage of the Micros hardware giving you more optimisation. This also significantly reduces the cost per unit due to the license-free Linux OS.
