We are excited to announce the latest release of the Extended Credit Bill application, which comes with several new improvements to make managing hotel folios and credit bills easier than ever before.
One of the most significant improvements is the ability to automatically detect hotel folio types and use them when creating folios and credit bills. This feature will greatly streamline the billing process and ensure that all charges are accurately recorded.
In addition, our software application now creates a defaut folio when the hotel uses none. This is especially helpful for hotels, which may not have a standard folio template in place.
Another key improvement is the ability to detect the hotel country mode and guide the process to create a credit bill or a negative folio in countries where the credit bill functionality is not in use. This feature will save time and reduce errors by ensuring that the correct billing process is followed.
Our software app also includes a correction to AR invoices that were closed using City Ledger Payment Method. With this correction, if the folio is a normal one, a new PM reservation is created using the payee of the original folio.
On the other hand, if the folio is from AR, then:
- A new PM reservation is created using the same guest profile as in the original reservation.
- A new routing instruction is created in the PM reservation, which will route the transactions to the payee billing window.
- Original transactions are posted in a second window without being affected by the routing instructions. This feature will create an invoice in the AR module in Opera Cloud, telling you the payee of the invoice and the guest who produces the transactions.
Finally, we have added new information messages during the process to help users track where the process has stopped in case of an error. This feature will make it easier to troubleshoot any issues that may arise and ensure that the billing process is completed smoothly and efficiently.
